Before I leave home

Featured Replies

Had IBS D for over 30 years. I doubt I'm the only one, so who else experiences because you plan on leaving the house like magic your stomach takes a turn and you have to visit the bathroom. Up to this point you didn't need to go and felt fine. Worst of all in my case anyway going once is never enough. Now the anxiety really creeps in. Am I going to get caught short on my travels? Take today had to go once just before leaving home and twice more when out. I have a wonderful husband who accepts what goes on with me and our trip out was abandoned due to my IBS D.

I know the feeling. If I am traveling I throw in the towel and take an immoodium.

I’m trying to get it under control by following FODMAP food suggestions and I have already given up caffeine and gluten. Grrrrr.
