Hi my husband is seeing a Doctor at Yale New Haven Connecticut and so far they haven't helped much. He is in constant pain and is really getting down to the point that I am really worried.

I am so sorry that your husband is struggling to manage constant pain with IBS-C. A supportive partner makes a big difference on how someone copes so it's very good that you are reaching out for some help.

Can you describe any testing that has been done and what if any treatments have been tried? How long has your husband been managing this?

Yes IBS-C is terrible all of the IBS systems are terrible I litterly have has a lot of visits to the ER even though I have a primary Dr. and a gastro Dr.too I had a procedure done the gastro Dr. referred me to Pelvic floor PT I start soon but the cramping attacks are bad seems like it never goes away some medication works but I don’t want all these meds right now it’s been bad I also have therapy for it watch my diet seems like it has me slowing my Life down you don’t know when you may have a bad attack so I have limited my Life and iam tired of it so hoping tge pelvic floor excersises and eating different helps so I also got a therapist anything that helps and too many pills are not the anserw so Anyone that relates like to hear what you say?
