Premenopause and ibs+hemorrhoids

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, i’mHelena.

I’ve been living with IBS mixed type for 20 years. Started after gallbladder removal. First constipation then mixed D and C. But during premenopausal period when estrogen got lower, all symptoms became mild and i got so happy. Last year suddenly my estrogen’s started getting higher… and my troubles have started again even worse. I had hemorrhoids before but it didn’t bother so much. But now when estrogen grows i feel it by my …. (You know🤦‍♀️) . Plus it gets thrombosed , so once a year or 2 i have to get them removed by surgery. One doc advice Daflone, but my intestines are so gentle so i’m scared even to try. Maybe someone here had such trouble due to premenopausal period. Now i drink progesterone every month but it helps little, period comes and those days i feel better , but then again estrogen grows and hemorrhoids appear. I take care abounded food but no help. And problem that I don’t have stable stool. Last week i got exhausted, can work or think properly. Docs just give some creams etc … but no help.
