I have very bad anxiety and stress and it causes Ibs symptoms discomfort in the rectum and wind I don’t think it’s food related does anybody else have this ?

I also have bad stress and anxiety over the past couple of years. My symptoms, much the same as yours, have got considerably worse. It doesn't seem to make any difference what I eat. Mostly the symptoms seem to get worse during and after my evening meal. This issue is having an effect on my social life as I'm worried about embarrassing myself.
