Hi everyone . I feel very frustrated about my IBS like I've tried everything . I dont get constipated im usually the opposite I have frequent diarrhea. I tried narrowing down trigger foods but one day they bother me and other days they dont. After I have a bowel movement I get stomach pain and I may go again 2 more times. Recently I had 2 accidents before I got to a washroom. I found this devastating as im only 55. I almost feel like I dont want to leave the house or go on long drives. I feel its played with my head. Can anyone offer any help here ? At one point I was taking immodium but u cant take too many.

Hi, my name is MARTHA. I totally understand what you’re saying. I’ve had IBS for many years and sometimes I think I live off Imodium. It’s terrible to wake up and feel good in the next thing you know when you’re at work, you’re having an incident people don’t understand and it’s embarrassing and some days I feel like I just wanna be locked up at my house and never leave. I have missed so many of my children’s sports games and so many special events. I even missed my granddaughter’s graduation this year. That really hurt. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what the answer is if anyone out there does please let me know. I never thought I’d find a group that maybe maybe would understand what I’m going through and how I feel it’s so debilitating.

I lmow what u mean. Now my wife wants to do tons of travelling . I get anxious just thinking about it. Im trying to develop the mindset that I wont let this control me but its super tough. Plus I luv food so its a constant battle . Its just the unpredictability that drives me crazy . A normal drive in the car starts out great then bang im scrambling for a washroom that I need to find within 3 minutes. Yikes

In reading about ibs it seems to be a inflammation problem. Has anyone tried any supplements that worked. Anyone tried IBGuard, Bio Gaia, or Balance by Sense Naturals?
