What did you decide to do? I'm thinking of stopping bc I have slowly had recurrence of depression and my usual dose of effexor doesn't work the way it did.

I have slow gastric emptying at times because my bowels get so backed up.  I have tried everything but Zelnorm.  I am desperate to try it, but I am 65.  Cardiologist cleared me.  Who knows?  Since I don’t want stomach surgery, I’m back to old faithful senna.  Also, my doctor gave me Ozempic for insulin resistance (not diabetes).  It slowed everything down.

That was very good to ask your cardiologist first. I hope Zelnorm provides some safe relief.
