Two independent reviewer searched MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Google Scholar database up to October 2019. Researchers distinguished 320 articles from the three databases, four cohorts and one cross-sectional study including a total of 526,633 individuals. Among IBS individuals, a significantly increased risk of osteoporosis was seen in this study.
