I was going to buy Swedish Bitters to try them, but then notice they contain Dandelion Root and Senna, both of which would be unhelpful with IBS-D and generally loose stools! So I decided to make my own, and included Gentian, marshmallow Root, Cinnamon and Ginger. I wanted to put Angelica Root in as well, but the organic herbs supplier didn't have it. I take a small glassful before each meal. It's too early to say yet if it's helped or not, but I did have normal bm-s for 3 days (might have got that anyway.)
