Anyone have good results with Motegrity to help with slow transit? Chronic backups causing rectal pressure with lower right quad pain. Diverticula in sigmoid complicates situation. I do watch to insure water intake is about 70 oz daily; check fiber amounts in diet and take Miralax when needed.

Hi! I have tried all medications available including motegrity.  I had 1 spontaneous bowel movement and then nothing. Stayed on med for 30 days to see if there would be improvement.  Discontinued due to tachycardia and no change in transit time or production of bowel movements.   I have Slow Transit Constipation diagnosed by anal manometry, sitz marker study and health history.  I have not had spontaneous bowel movements for 30 years. I am 45.
it’s worth a try. It may work wonders for you!  Good luck!!!!!
