Miki
So I started Ibsrela this week. I don't hate it, but....I can't seem to get the dosage right. My doctor wanted me to take 1/2 pill in the morning with salt in the meal and it didn't work at all. 3/4 of a pill does not work. One pill works a little too well. Total liquid. It actually doesn't bother me except that it kicks in again in the afternoon after lunch or just happens. I don't see this as a long term option for when I need to be somewhere at a certain time. If anyone has taken Ibsrela and can get it to work normally, please share, such as the timing, amount of sodium, etc. I am actually glad to be trying this. I wish I had a sample pack of all the constipation meds available. Unfortunately with insurance you basically have to fail a medicine to get something approved. Zelnorm no longer available and Motegrity was uneventful to say the least. My doctor actually likes this medicine so I want to give it a chance.
