anyone out there who completed the low fodmap diet and found out that fructose and fructans are their trigger?

thats me and its not easy lol. been at it for 2 years and its been really good on keeping down the flares. still have flares but even those dont last as long.

just trying to see if i am not alone.

Your are not alone with fructose. I have known for years that I have to limit the amount of citrus fruits that I have as they are high in fructose.

I have a similar problem with bran which is high in fructans.

May I say this is where the Monash app for the phone is so handy, you will find Jeffrey has put a post to this on another topic.

What a simple but effective tool to use, how I wish I knew about this years ago! still it is on my phone now and the best tool for anyone who suffers with IBS.
