vegetable portions size

I have come to realize that I need to eat smaller quantities of certain cooked vegetables. I had eaten

almost a cup of cooked beets and that seemed to be too much soluble fiber.

So, I'm going to try having smaller portions of cooked vegetables such as half a cup of say, beets or

winter squash or eggplant.

Has any in the group discovered that eating smaller portions could help with digestion?

I think eating smaller portions is all about the low FODMAP diet and how much can you tolerate in one sitting.

I definitely use smaller portions of vegetables.
