The importance of communicating with your healthcare provider about IBS-C

Have you ever felt uncomfortable talking with your healthcare provider about IBS-C symptoms that won’t go away?

If so, you are not alone. In fact, research shows that many people don’t tell their healthcare provider how they really feel. It could be because they don’t want to disappoint their healthcare provider if they’re not feeling as good as they think they should be. It could also be because they feel embarrassed to share details about their symptoms. Whatever the reason, if the healthcare provider doesn’t know what’s really going on, it makes it harder to help.

So, make sure you speak up about your symptoms and ask about your treatment options to make sure you have all the information. Knowledge is power!

We want to hear from you so that we can better understand the experiences of people living with IBS-C

We have partnered with Ardelyx, Inc, a pharmaceutical manufacturer, to create this survey to better understand your experience living with IBS-C. If you have already completed the survey we have shared, thank you. If not, this is your last chance. The survey closes on December 1st.

By participating in this anonymous survey, you will not only make your voice heard, but you will also help us better understand the experience of people living with IBS-C. That way, we can help educate the healthcare community to improve the care of people with IBS-C. We’ll share the results from everyone so you can see how others answered the same questions.
