Ive tried Imodium. It doesn't help.

I'm unable to leave my home unless I don't eat anything before that. And I have no safe foods.

Imodium doesn't stop your diarrhea? That's concerning since it literally paralyzes the bowel. I'd be hesitant to recommend anything if that didn't work for you.

Who diagnosed you with IBS-D? Have you ever seen a gastroenterologist?

Will imodium help if I use it before I eat?

I haven't officially been diagnosed but I have the symptoms and my sibling and both parents have a bowel issue.  Mother -ibs-d, Dad- chrohns, sibling- ibs-d.

I have bloating, pain and cramps after eating, very urgent watery diarrhea.

6 or 7 days a week. For 2 to 3 hours after food.

I hesitate to see a Dr due to other health issues such as not being able to be sedated or put under so a butt scope wouldn't be possible. And I would never get it done anyway.

I'd rather treat this myself.

In addition to this I have had this condition since I was a teen but in the last few years it's gotten. Worse.

Honestly with a history of Crohn's in your family and watery diarrhea, you should really be seen by a doctor. If you don't want to be scoped you can ask for a fecal calprotectin stool test which will tell you if the diarrhea is from IBD or IBS.

I'm looking for the name of the med I used as a teen in the 80s.

It was thick and white like chalk. A liquid.

It helped but I don't remember the name.

I'm really hoping for support.  This is the only place I can talk about my experience, who would understand.

Is anyone here?
