Hi:

I've been in an unprecedented IBS flare for a month that began immediately after a colonoscopy.  I assume the prep is what did it.  I have constant lower abdominal pain and a sharp senstation of needing to poop after every meal.  

Has anyone been affected by a colonoscopy like this?

Yes, this something I struggle with after a scope, but it does eventually settle down for me abut about 10-14 days.

Has it settled down at all? It's possible that you were infected during your procedure. A stool culture and some blood work would be worth exploring with your doctor.
