I have tried Amizita, Trulance and Linzess.  The trouble is they work for a few weeks then stop.  I have lymphocytic colitis, slow transit, malrotation of colon and constipation.  The best course was taking 2 senna at night, was perfect until that stopped working so went back on Trulance.  Anyone else have this experience that you can share feedback?  Thank you

Have you considered the completely different compound called Ibsrela? It works completely different than the ones you have tried.

Thank you I’m going to give that one a try. How does it work differently in linzess  or truelance?

Ibsrela is a completely different mechanism.

Ibsrela reduces sodium absorption and increases the excretion of sodium and fluid in stool whereas all the others stimulate secretion of chloride and bicarbonate and water into the intestine to aid constipation.

This sounds exactly like my situation. I’m just starting ibsrela (only taken 2 pills thus far) and am hopeful for better results. Good luck to you

Hope you have success with this.  

Trulance worked great on me but after about two months stopped. 

 

Doctor said Ibsrela is what fits my symptoms and it really really helps! Make sure to read the directions on timing. 

Also some people cycle a week or so off Trulance at intervals and that helps.

Thank you for the update am starting Ibsrela soon.  The dosage I read was one tablet after breakfast and one tablet before dinner is that what works for you?

Ibsrela has been prescribed by my doctor, but how bad is the diarrhea? I have slow transit time, so am hoping that it doesn’t get bad,
